I have not had a chance to actually use this item---will be grinding coffee beans soon though. I hope it actually works better than it's physical condition when I opened it. The grinding unit was only secured to the base by one screw, which left the base just hanging and flopping around. After trying to replace and tigthten the other screw (on the
